Edit

The Philips SHS8000/97 is a pair of earbuds that loop over the ear to keep them in place. Their size is small, so the driver for the sound has to be small as well. This means lower volume ability but also a longer battery life. To compensate for this a feature called 'Turbo Bass' is included to charge the low tones by directing them clearly towards the user's ears. Like a lot of Philips products, the magnet included is a neodynium magnet, and the connection is plated in 24K gold. One nice feature of the Philips SHS8000/97 is the anti-tug design. The cable is designed so that if it gets yanked or tugged on accident the earplugs grip tighter instead of being pulled out.
