Edit

The Panasonic HDC-SX5 is a Hi-Def, 3CCD, SD/DVD Hybrid Palmcorder® Camcorder with 1920x1080-Pixel Recording, Optical Image Stabilizer and Leica Lens, Records to 8cm DVD Disc and SD Memory Card. It retails for $900, and was released in 2008. This piece seems to have combined features from different previous models (direct DVD recording and SD memory recording), however critics noted that it still failed to solve some of the fundamental problems with its predecessors such as the Panasonic HDC-DX1, such as DVD load time and a huge battery. They, however, do praise the addition of the 1920x1080 Pixel recording.
