Edit

The Panasonic HDC-SD60 is a high-definition camcorder set for release sometime in 2010. The camcorder is intended to be used by experienced users and newcomers to camcorders alike, and utilizes a compact, sleek design and an on-screen LCD touch interface to target both groups. The camcorder has a 35.7mm wide-angle lens, suitable for landscape and portrait shots, and a 25X optical zoom that extends further to 35X with Panasonic's Intelligent Zoom technology that correct image quality as the lens is zoomed out. In addition, Intelligent Auto technology is also featured, meaning the camcorder can be set to register six faces that it will from then on recognize and focus on during video capture sessions. The HDC-SD60 uses only SD and SDXC memory card for storage and saving videos, meaning that it has no built-in memory or internal hard drive; this also means it is more resistant to strenuous use as it has no drive mechanism to damage with impacts.
