Edit

The Panasonic HDC-HS700 is one of two high-definition digital camcorders (HS700, TM700) announced in February 2010 as successors to Panasonic’s HS300/TM300 series. Both camcorders feature a 35mm wide-angle Leica lens, a 12x optical zoom, and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card expansion. More importantly, they support full 1080p high-definition video recording at 60fps, 60i, or 24p. The only difference between them is that the HS700 hosts a large 240GB internal hard-disc drive. The camcorder also supports 14.2MP still shots, 5.1-channel surround sound via five embedded microphones, and Power O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization), which utilizes gyro sensors to detect shaking and reduce blurring.

Additional Information

Additional features include a wind noise canceller, a 3" touch-screen LCD display, a 3MOS system that provides an effective video image pixel count of 7,590,000 pixels.
