The Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 is a mid-cost 3D TV. This TV is equipped with Panasonic’s IPTV functionality, which is expanded for 2011 under the name VIERA Connect. This platform offers the same content sites (like Netflix, Amazon VOD, and YouTube), the previous VIERA Cast platform offered, but adds apps like Hulu Plus, Napster, CinemaNow and Facebook, as well as sports sites. The VIERA TC-P50GT30's display is fifty inches of full HD (1080p) plasma. This display is 3D capable. This TV also features 3D VIERA Image Viewer, which allows you to view JPEG 2D digital still images, 3D digital still images and both 2D &  3D HD video. The VIERA TC-P50GT30 is WiFi ready with LAN included through one of the three USB ports. This model differs from the higher cost VIERA TC-P55GT30 model in that the VIERA TC-P55GT30 has a fifty-five inch display. The Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT30 3D TV is DLNA certified, which means that it can be connected to other DLNA-equipped devices.
