The Panasonic VIERA TC-P50GT25 is a 50”, 1080p 3D plasma HDTV that uses Frame Sequential technology to reproduce left-eye and right-eye 3D images. It’s the top unit in the August 2010 VIERA 3D series, as it offers the largest size, though maintains the same 5M:1 contrast ratio, full support for 3D video content, and integrated audio system. It’s especially been praised for its black-level performance, its enhanced color saturation, and its lower power consumption versus previous 1080p models. However, it has difficulty handling 1080/24p sources (despite its claim for otherwise), and there are fewer streaming services and apps (VIERA CAST) versus competitor models.
