The Panasonic VIERA TC-P42C2 is one of three VIERA Plasma HDTVs announced in 2010 as part of the VIERA C2 series. The C2 series is the most affordable of Panasonic’s latest units, chiefly because it features a lowered 720p resolution. It was designed like this to appeal to consumer demands for differing HDTV resolutions. Like its 1080p peers from the U2 series, the 42” TC-P42C2 utilizes a 600Hz Sub-Field Drive with Panasonic’s new NEO PDP technology to deliver improved luminosity with clearer hues. Most notable though is the 100,000-hour lifespan. Additional features include three HDMI connections, 2 USB ports, a PC input, and VIERA Link for using a single remote for accessing any connected VIERA Link products.
