Edit

The Viera LX85 Series is Panasonic's entry level line of LCD television sets introduced in 2008 offering a 720p native resolution. While the Panasonic name is more well known among Plasma displays, Panasonic's LCD sets compete with other top-tier manufacturers such as Sony and Samsung. A step-up above the LX85 Series is the 37LZ85 which features a better display panel, and a native 1080p resolution among other improvements.
