The Panasonic TH-50PZ80Q is a plasma television, part of the Vieira Q series.  The technology community are all talking about the Q series because of its tru2way built-in support that allows full access to digital cable TV service without the need for a separate cable box.  Reviewers say that otherwise the Q series is identical to the existing Vieira U series.  The TH-50 produces black levels a bit deeper than the U series and boast of four HDMI inputs.  The Q series comes in only two models, the 50 in. or the 42 in. Panasonic has released both for sale only in the Chicago and Denver areas at this time.  They came on the market October 15, 2008.  The Panasonic TH-50PZ80Q is the full-size member of this line and comes in a black frame only.
