Edit

The Panasonic PT-AE4000, an update to the PT-AE3000, is a high-end home theater projector. Like its predecessor, the PT-AE4000 features full HD, 1080p resolution and 1,600 ANSI lumens of brightness. The contrast ratio is raised from 60,000:1 to 80,000:1, and Panasonic has corrected a lens issue preventing the display of a true 2.35:1 aspect ratio. Several technologies have also been added, including a 'Red Rich Lamp', which aims to increase color definition. The unit's exterior is the same as that of the PT-AE3000, and its connectivity is identical, with three HDMI ports and two ethernet ports in addition to RGB, S-Video, and composite.
