The Panasonic Toughbook N8 is one of six PCs released by Panasonic in 2008 as part of their new “Let’s Note” portable laptops — all of which are powered by Windows 7. It features an Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 processor (2.53GHz), up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 250GB hard-disc drive. Included also is a 12.1” WXGA screen (1366x768), HDMI/SDHC connectivity, and an Intel GM45 Express Chipset with 765MB of VRAM. Signature to the Panasonic Toughbook N8 is Panasonic’s claim that its internal battery can handle up to 16 hours of operation. The only difference between the N8 and S8 is that the S8 includes an integrated DVD burner.

Additional Information

The six models being released are the F8, R8, W8, T8, N8, and S8. The first four are the same as previous Panasonic offerings — except that they feature Windows 7. The N8 and S8, on the other hand, are more compact and powerful.
