Edit

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 is a micro four thirds camera with interchangeable lenses. It is an addition to Panasonic's existing micro four thirds line up. The GF3 is equipped with a 12.1 mega pixel sensor and has the ability to capture high definition video in 1080i AVCHD format. It should be noted that the GF3 does not feature a hot shoe but instead a flip out flash; that is unlike other Lumix GF models. The GF3 will be available in 2 types of packages with different lenses included. Other features include touch screen menu controls, 3D shooting capability with certain lenses, and a range of auto focus options. The GF3 can focus over the entire shooting area; the user can also pick a focus point using the on screen controls. This offers higher quality and control over the photos. The GF3 is advertised to be smaller and lighter than the previous the previous iterations of the GF line with a 16% reduction in both size and weight. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF3 is an excellent option for enthusiasts who seek a high quality yet portable camera.
