The Lumix DMC-FZ150 is a mid-range high zoom digital camera from Panasonic that offers an alternative to the other models in the company's Lumix Interchangeable Lens series. Fitted with a high-sensitivity 12.1-megapixel CMOS lens, this model features a powerful 24x optical zoom and for capturing professional-quality photos. Panasonic's own Intelligent Zoom technology has been implemented, working in conjunction with the unit's 32x optical zoom to provide automatic zoom settings based on subject type and proximity. Leica's DC Optics lens is included for attaining classic wide-angle shots, treated with Lumix Nano Surface coating to ensure long life and consistent quality. The FZ150 is also capable of full 1080/60p HD video recording, and is installed with a two-piece stereo microphone with noise cancellation for optimal source audio. Additional features include a 12 frames-per-second burst mode for rapid-fire photography and stop motion-style photo composition, all configurable via the camera's 3-inch LCD display. For manual adjustment, users will benefit from a side-lever zoom and focus control mounted on the side of the unit that offers quick adjustment without having to break position of a given shot.
