The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX700 is a point-and-shoot digital camera by Panasonic. It is a member of the fall 2010 generation of Panasonic Lumix cameras. In addition to regular phototaking, the DMC-FX700 can take 1080p HD quality video in the AVCHD format. Unlike the FX40 and FX100, the DMC-FX700 is not a 'super zoomer' and only offers a 5x optical zoom lens on the camera. It does, however, still offer many of the other same features such as 14.1 megapixels, SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, and facial recognition with intelligent autofocus. The DMC-FX700 comes with software to manage and view the photos and videos it takes, as well as software to easily upload the videos to YouTube.
