This camera features a 10.1 megapixel sensor, auto focus with face detection and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Since this digital camera is designed for novice photographers, its built-in technology will automatically detect 1 of 5 scene modes and apply the best settings to suit the situation. ISO settings and the shutter speed is also automatically controlled, which helps to prevent blurry images. The LCD screen measures 2.5-inches, while the optical zoom as a maximum reach of 4x. Photos and videos can be recorded to built-in memory (50 MB), SD cards or SDHC cards. The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FS42 is available in 3 different colors: black, silver and pink.
