The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH2 is an ultra-compact digital camera focused on being as small as possible with simple functionality. This is similar to the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FH5, but uses a smaller 14.1 megapixel sensor and a slightly more limited 8.4x Extra Optical zoom that uses digital enhancement to zoom past the limit of the optical zoom. They are the same in all other ways, including the slim compact body design. A 4x optical zoom works with a 28mm wide-angle lens, and can be smoothly enhanced with digital processes to a 5x Intelligent Zoom.
