Introduced at CES 2009, the HD808 is a high end home theater projector from Optoma. Featuring Pixelworks' PW9800 co-processor with DNX MotionEngine, the HD808 presents film-like performance in full 1080p. Rated at 1,200 ANSI lumens with a 15,000:1 contrast ratio the HD808 will be available though mainstream outlets, while an upgraded version, the HD8200 will be available for custom installations only. With a MSRP of $3500 the HD808 ships later this month.
