Excellent HT. Bought this package 4 years back in Chennai for Rs. 44,000/- and running excellent. Perfect fit for Indian filmy music and movies. Stereo music was little disappointing (expected in a HT package with small speakers ) so i added Jamo S606 tower and tuned the crossover...sounding gr8 now with even 96 kbps mp3 ......

Onkyo and Pioneer sound awesome for indian film music.

Go for Denon, marantz if your listening style is more of live shows.. concerts..Gazals etc .. Yamaha is more natural and neutral to all kinds of sound.

Died after two years. Turns itself automatically. I unplugged all wires and removed inner dust. Still shuts down after 2 seconds. Don't buy!

I'm going to level with you. If you want a "home theater" and you don't know what you're doing, and don't want to spend too much money, Don't go into Circuit City/Futureshop/Best Buy and talk to a sales rep. Just buy this one instead.
