The Onkyo TX-NR3008 is a top-of-the-line A/V receiver with 9.2 channel audio support. It features 8 HDMI 1.4a ports with audio return channel and full 3D media support, 1080p upconversion of any HDMI video source via HVQ Reon VX technology, multi-room audio support and TrueHD/DTS-HD decoding. Additionally, the TX-NR3008 features a front panel USB port, direct iPod/iPhone interfacing and DLNA 1.5-compatible network streaming.

The TX-NR3008's HDMI 1.4a support eliminates the need for an extra S/PDIF audio cable to your television as its Audio Return Channel function allows for two-way audio transfer while also providing "Side-By-Side (Half)" and "Top-and-Bottom" 3D media compatibility. Its HVQ Reon VX technology allows the TX-NR3008 to upconvert any standard definition media source being streamed via HDMI to full 1080p HD. Meanwhile, the TX-NR3008 is able to interface directly with both USB storage devices and iPods/iPhones supporting full audio playback, even displaying album art while its DLNA 1.5 network streaming allows you to stream any media through the TX-NR3008 via your home wireless network.

I had two brand new units fail on me after a few hours of opperation. Went to a Denon.
