The FE series from Olympus focuses on slim design, ease of use, and competitive pricing.  The FE-360 is a basic model selling at the lowest price point in the FE-3xx line.  Even so, it offers a super-slim 0.7" thin body, 3x optical zoom, and 20 different shooting modes.  A special preview mode splits the LCD into a multi-frame window to display the effect of different settings, so you can select the shot you like best.  Combined with various auto-assists and in-camera help, even a beginner can capture great shots.  While effective, this model's Digital Image Stabilization ("DIS") amounts to little more than automatic ISO control and fast shutter speeds (contrast this with the built-in gyro sensor and Digital Image Stabilization Edit of the FE-320 or the sensor-shift Dual Image Stabilization of the FE-370).  Voice Recording lets you add annotations or sound effects to your photos.

  • 8.0 megapixel CCD sensor -- up to 3264 x 2448 resolution
  • 3x optical zoom (36 -- 108 mm equivalent)
  • 2.5" display
  • Digital Image Stabilization
  • Face recognition
  • 16 scene modes
  • 1/2000 sec. -- 1/2 sec. shutter speed (up to 4 sec. in Sunset mode)
  • 30 fps video capture
  • Sensitivity to ISO 1000
  • Supports xD-Picture Card natively; microSD memory with MASD-1 adapter
  • Uses LI-42B Li-ion Battery
  • Charger, USB cable, A/V cable, wrist strap, MASD-1 adapter, Olympus Master 2 Software included

Could anybody tell me, why suddenly the flash does not work any more on my Olympus FE-360?
Thank you
