The Olympus E-450 is an entry-level compact digital SLR camera. It has many of Olympus' standard DSLR features like live view, dust protection, digital image stabilization and the TruePic III image processor. The megapixel count is 10.0, and the E-450 also has a smaller form factor than is typical for DSLR cameras. The camera's LCD screen measures 2.7"-diagonal and is bright enough to view in direct sunlight. For convenience, there are 18 different preset shooting modes, and always uses an automatic white balance, which attempts to replicate white objects as realistically as possible. The E-450 is compatible with several different memory formats and has an ergonomic design. Typically the E-450 comes as a kit and includes both 14-42mm and 40-150mm Zuiko lenses. Other features include on-screen autofocus and face detection capabilities.
