The Nvidia GeForce GTX 275 is a high-end graphics card with a single GPU design. The GTX 275 is a step up from the GTX 260+ and a step below the GTX 285. Intended to compete with ATI’s similarly priced Radeon HD 4890, the GTX 275 has proven to be the top performer according to a variety of well-known benchmark sites. The card features 240 stream processors and a 448-bit memory bandwidth. Its graphics core is clocked at 633 MHz, its memory at 1134 MHz and its processor clock (shaders) at 1404 MHz. This card comes standard with 896 MB of DDR3 memory, which is rated at a throughput speed of 127.0 GB/sec. Other features include support for PhysX-enabled games and CUDA-enabled applications. The Nvidia GTX 275 is scheduled to launch in April 2009 at a $249 price point.
