Pros

But compared to Nikon Monarch, Travelite is only 1/2 price. Yes , Monarch is every bit a better bino but if you are starting out and just needed a bine to locate birds then this is BEST buy.

Cons

Diopter easily gets changed accidentally. and will work itself lose over time.

INTERNAL FLARING which shows are low contrast and "foggy" images. Need not be directly pointed at a light source, just anything bright.

Edit

The Travelite VI 10x25 CF are one of three options in Nikon's 2010 Travelite series of mid-range, compact binoculars. Models with 8x and 12x magnification are also available. Like other past and present Nikon binoculars, they feature lenses coated with multiple layers of anti-reflective compounds, optimizing light transmission for maximum brightness. The lenses are also aspherical, reducing distortion. The Travelite VI 10x25 feature a rubber exterior, enabling a solid grip in wet and dry conditions, but are not waterproof and fog-proof like many of Nikon's models.

Features
  • 10x magnification
  • 25mm objective lens diameter
  • Anti-reflective lens coatings
  • Aspherical lenses
  • Rubber-coated body
  • Turn-and-slide eyecups
  • BaK4 high-index prisms
  • 9.5 oz
