The Nikon Premier SE 8x32 binoculars are one of Nikon's high-middle end offerings. Nikon markets these binoculars particularly to bird-watchers. These binoculars share most of their features with the closely related Nikon Premier SE 10x42s and Nikon Premier SE 12x50, the chief differences being in magnification (8x, 10x and 12x), objective diameter (32mm, 42mm and 50mm) and real angular field of view (7.5 degrees, 5 degrees and 6 degrees), which affects the field of view at 1000 yds. (393 ft., 262 ft. and 314 ft.). The 8x32s also have a lower relative brightness than the other two models (16 as opposed to 17). Features shared between the three models include multicoated lenses and BaK4 high index Porro prisms, which offer high-resolution images. Nikon promotes the central focus knob of all three models as being exceptionally smooth, which means that you can follow fast moving birds. Another shared feature is the adjustable interpupilary distance, which can go from 56mm to 72mm. All three models have an ergonomic design that will make long views possible, as well as an Eco-Glass construction, which means that they contain no lead or arsenic.
