Edit

The sleek Nikon Coolpix S710 follows the trend in latter 2008 of dramatically increased resolution in slim compact digital cameras. In this case, a 14.5 megapixel sensor is coupled with a 3.6x Nikkor zoom lens with a maximum width of 28mm. Optical image stabilization and a maximum ISO of 12800 are designed to ensure sharp images even in low-light or unsteady situations. The 3" LCD on the camera's rear has an anti-reflective coating, and according to Nikon, a viewing angle of 170 degrees. Photographers who prefer more control than the scene modes offer can use shutter- or aperture-priority, or full manual mode.

Features:
  • 14.5 megapixel CCD sensor
  • 3.6x optical zoom lens
  • optical image stabilization
  • 28mm wide angle
  • manual exposure mode
  • scene modes and intelligent auto-scene selector
  • 3" LCD on rear
  • captures video (4 different movie modes)
