Edit

The Nikon AF NIKKOR 24mm f/2.8D is a compact and lightweight lens built for general photography. This is similar to the Nikon AF NIKKOR 20mm f/2.8D, with nearly the same dimensions and weight. The maximum angle is reduced, however, moving this lens out of the "ultra-wide-angle" category and cutting the cost of the lens down significantly. The fast f/2.8 lens is still capable of capturing landscapes or candid portraits, and Close-Range Correction (CRC) allows for the subject to be as close as 0.85 feet without distortion. The Super Integrated Coating reduces flare and ghost, allowing the color balance to be represented correctly in most conditions. Both automatic and manual focus modes are available.
