Edit

The Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 135mm f/2D is a high-end SLR digital camera lens. This lens has most of the same specs as the closely related Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm, but with higher focal length (135mm as opposed to 105mm), lower angles of view (12 degrees DX/18 degrees FX as opposed to 15 degrees DX/23 degrees FX), more lens elements (7 as opposed to 6), higher minimum focus distance (4 feet as opposed to 3 feet) and different size and weight numbers (3.1" x 4.7"/28.7oz. as opposed to 3.1" x 4.4"/22.6oz.). Like the Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2D, the Defocus Image Control is the AF DC-NIKKOR 135mm f/2D's most promoted feature. This feature allows you to control the spherical abberation in the foreground or background with a control ring on the lens. Also like the AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2D, this lens has rear focusing, which makes for a quicker AF (Auto Focus) performance. The large maximum aperture of 2 allows you to shoot well in low light. The Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 135mm f/2D comes with 72mm lens cap and rear lens cap.
