Edit

The Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2D is a high-end digital SLR camera lens. Nikon promotes this lens as a classic-style portrait lens. In promotion, Nikon emphasizes their Defocus Image Control technology, which lets you control the spherical abberation with a control ring, thereby allowing you to control the degree of focus in the foreground and background. The AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2D also has rear focusing, which makes for a faster overall AF (Auto Focus) performance. That being said, this lens is also equipped with manual focus. The minimum distance that this lens needs to focus on an object is three feet. The large maximum aperture (2) helps with taking pictures in low light. The Nikon AF DC-NIKKOR 105mm f/2D comes with a 72mm lens cap and a rear lens cap.
