Edit

Baby Ruth is a popular candy bar, originally released in 1921. The product is purportedly named after former President Grover Cleveland’s daughter, Ruth Cleveland – not the famous baseball player Babe Ruth. However, Baby Ruth remains the official candy bar of Major League Baseball. The major components of a Baby Ruth are chocolate-covered peanuts, caramel and nougat. The product is available in several different sizes; Full Size, King Size, Fun Size and Miniatures. A variety of spin-offs exist as well, including a Baby Ruth ice cream bar and the Baby Ruth Crisp, which is also an ice cream product.
