For instance, the 7200T offers an Instant Fix II (versus Instant Fix) GPS system that locks onto a GPS satellite and finds a signal in a mere matter of seconds, not to mention Voice Destination Entry so that drivers can better focus on the road by speaking addresses and directions instead of manually typing them into the system. Technology for making phone calls. In addition, the 7200T boasts Landmark View 3D that displays the best-known buildings across the U.S. and Canada in richly textured 3D, Reality View Pro for displaying photo-realistic 3D views with actual road signs for any highway interchange that a driver may encounter, a DirectHelp system that provides instant driving directions and contact information for nearby hospitals police pharmacies etc, optional Navigon FreshMaps so that users can update their unit’s map 12 times a year for just $79.99 extra, Lane Assistant Pro for preparing the driver by providing clear visual lane guidance, and a traffic receiver that offers completely free and real-time traffic updates for the life-time of the device. In fact, the traffic receiver covers over 95 cities across both the U.S. and Canada, and provides alerts of both traffic troubles and possible alternative routes. The 7200T also sports advanced text-to-speech voice guidance for verbal directions including street names, multi-destination trip planning, sports pre-loaded maps of the lower 48 states, millions of preloaded points of interest, 64MB of internal memory, a USB 1.1 port, a micro SD card slot, and a non-removable Lithium-ion battery.
