The NAD T 975 is a seven-channel power amplifier capable of providing 140W continuous power per channel at 4 or 8 Ohms, and 230W / 345W / 570W dynamic power at 8, 4, and 2 Ohms. Designed for users trying to get the maximum out of their home theater system, the 975 hosts an extremely large 1000W peak power. In addition, it utilizes a monoblock construction for each channel, meaning every aspect of each channel (save for the power) is entirely independent. This in turn reduces the chance of any inter-channel interference. Included in each section is a Class A input, driver stage circuits, and a high-current output-stage design. Together these promote enhanced dynamic quality. Overall this lets the T 975 produce detailed music that critics say can easily match multi-channel amps double or triple its price.
