Edit

MSi's GX640 is a laptop targeted at gamers because of its relatively capable graphics and processing capabilities, using a Radeon HD5850 graphics card with 1GB of GDDR5 graphics memory, as well as an Intel i5 processor running at 2.26GHz. This allows DirectX 11 support for current and future game capabilities. The display measures 15.4" with a native resolution of 1680 x 1050. It has a 500GB hard drive, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and ships with Windows 7. Other features include a polished chassis with red accents, and raised keyboard with marked WASD keys for easier gaming, as well as a built-in 1.3 megapixel webcam. The use of the i5 processor makes the laptop more efficient, allowing for longer battery life, and also enabling Intel's "TurboBoost" performance enhancement for demanding games.
