The MSi G41M-P33 is a motherboard that supports Intel Core 2 Quad and Intel Core 2 Duo based processors. It is also capable to supporting the Intel next generation 45nm multi-core processors. Because of limitations in the chipset, this model does not support Windows 98 or ME editions. It comes equipped with the Intel G41 chipset, which supports Microsoft DirectX 10, or the Intel ICH7 chipset, which offers a hi-speed USB 2.0 controller, capable of supporting up to 8 ports. This motherboard can handle up to 8GB of memory, and supports 2 unbuffered DIMM of 1.5volt DD3 DRAM. The mainboard BIOS supports Plug&Play BIOS, which can detect any added external cards or peripheral devices automatically.
