The MSi R5450-MD1GH is a low cost video card for people who need to take some load off of their main CPU for graphic processing. It is identical to the R5450-MD512H in every way except the memory, which is doubled in this case. While it is compatible with most graphic standards, a low speed processor and memory will make it suitable for casual games. Those building a home theater can take advantage of its HDCP support, however, to stream video to a variety of outputs.

The processor is a 650MHz ATI Radeon HD 5450 processor, which is supported by 1024MB of DDR3 memory. The memory itself is clocked at 650MHz and uses a 64-bit interface to exchange data with the processor. The card uses a PCI-E 2.1 slot, and outputs in VGA, DVI-I, and HDMI. While it can manage resolutions of up to 2560x1600, expect a major performance slow-down at this level of detail. Both DirectX 11 and OpenGL 3.2 are supported.

Card is a load of rubbish. It's slower than a Radion HD 4830. Waste of money
