Edit

The MSi R5450-MD1G is a low cost video card for people who need to take some load off of their main CPU for graphic processing. Its specifications are identical to the R5450-MD1GH in every way, but has been redesigned to be lighter and take up less space in the computer. It is compatible with most graphic standards, and has a silent cooling system. Those building a home theater can take advantage of its HDCP support to stream video to a variety of outputs.

The processor is a 650MHz ATI Radeon HD 5450 processor, which is supported by 1024MB of DDR3 memory. The memory itself is clocked at 650MHz and uses a 64-bit interface to exchange data with the processor. The card uses a PCI-E 2.1 slot, and outputs in VGA, DVI-I, and HDMI. While it can manage resolutions of up to 2560x1600, expect a major performance slow-down at this level of detail. Both DirectX 11 and OpenGL 3.2 are supported.
