The Motorola Citrus is an entry-level, candybar smartphone (WX445) featuring the Android 2.1 (Éclair) OS and MotoBlur UI, and released through Verizon Wireless in Q4 2010 for their basic CDMA network. Featured is a 3” QVGA TFT capacitive touchscreen display that also functions as the virtual keyboard, as there is no actual keyboard on the device. On the back is a backtrack touchpad to be used as a mouse for scrolling and navigating. Signature is the incorporation of seven home screens, each of which can be loaded with user-chosen widgets and apps. Additional features include audio/video capture, playback, and streaming; microSD memory expansion up to 32GB; and an embedded full HTML browser with preloaded with Bing, though there’s also access to Google services as well.
