Pros

can take a fair amount of abuse without showing signs of wear

3 agree

Higher handicappers will prefer the hybrids over the traditional long irons

3 agree

great feel during the swing, balance is maintained throughout

3 agree

great forgiveness, lets you hit a little off-center and still goes straight

3 agree

generally ideal for those with a higher handicap, will see significant improvement on average

2 agree

the hybrid 4 and 5 clubs are fantastic. Very forgiving, for me personally I hit these as consistent as Callaway X Hot Irons. Amazing price for these.

2 agree

I do not find a lack of power or control with these irons and hybrid 3 & 4. I am not a single digit handicapper, but not much higher. I hit them much more consistently than callaway and cobra much more costly sets

So Many Clubs to tru, so little time

I currently have the MX-100 irons, My setup right now is to carry: my driver (Callaway RazR) & a 4-wood (taylor made burner), then 3 through putter including the Mizuno MX-100 hybrid-3, hybrid-4, hybrid-5. 6 iron, 7 iron, 8 iron, 9 iron, PW (46 degrees I've found out), and 3 Mizuno MP-T11 wedges, 52 degree, 56 degree, and a 60 degree, and my taylor made putter.

At the golf center I used the swing analyzer and was hitting the (used) MX-100's just about as well as one of the more costly new callaway sets, and better than the Cobra S3's and one other more blade-like/forged club.  Has anyone moved from these MX-100s to something they like even better?  Thanks!
