The Mitsubishi WD-82840 is a high-end 3D DLP 3D-capable HDTV similar to the Mitsubishi WD-73840. The sole difference between the two models is size: the WD-82840 sports an 82" screen, the WD-73840 a 73" screen. Otherwise, the two HDTVs sport the same basic specs and features, including: Clear Contrast Screen technology, Immersive Sound Technology and built-in wireless internet.

The WD-82840's Clear Contrast Screen technology provides enhanced contrast with deeper blacks and brighter whites while reducing glare from ambient light sources.
