Edit

The Kinect Joy Ride is a Kinect-based racing game for the Xbox 360 released in November 2010. Users must stand up to play it, as they instead hold out their hands as if operating a steering wheel. Regardless, users race up to eight drivers and can gain additional points via fancy moves like pulling in and then thrusting out quickly (speed boost) or leaning to drift. Also supported are front-flips, back-flips, spins, and a mixture of all the above. As the game is geared toward co-op play, users can play against anyone and also modify their car/avatar and show them off. Additional features include a Stunt Mode, special events (like tournaments), and even avatar animations.
