The Microsoft Surface Pro is a higher-end tablet designed as an upgraded version of the standard Surface.  Its main features include enhanced processing power based around an Intel i5 processor, as well as Intel HD graphics. It uses Windows 8 Pro, which utilizes numerous touch-enhanced applications. However, It also runs Windows 7 desktop applications and integrates with existing business and enterprise software and structure. Other features include an SDXC card reader, dual HD cameras, Bluetooth 4.0 and MiniDisplay port output. Microsoft markets this tablet as a potential one-product solution for certain business and personal needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I install microsoft office? can I install Quickbooks?

Install Office on your Surface Pro just as you would on any Windows machine. Note it must be a Surface Pro. I do not believe Office can be installed on the Surface RT.

  • Can you print documents using Surface Pro

Even the cut-down-Windows Surface RT tablet allows you to plug a printer right in, as demonstrated in http://www.amazon.com/Quick-QUEASY-Guide-Microsoft-Surface/dp/1440490929. Unlike, say, a Google Chromebook which requires you to use their "Cloud Print" with an internet-connected printer.
