Edit

Michelin's HydroEdge is a higher-end all-season tire for use on cars or minivans. It has a unique tread design that enhances traction in each of wet-, dry- and snowy-road conditions. The central rib provides winter snow and ice traction, its deep diagonal grooves expel water, and the shoulder regions are optimal for dry conditions. Its tread construction uses a contact patch shape that distributes force evenly over the tire, increasing the tire longevity. It is, in fact, backed by a 90 thousand mile warranty. The wide centre groove and inclusion of silica improve grip, especially in braking situations, and this allows the HydroEdge to stop in shorter distances than many other standard tires.
