The Memorex MVBD-2520 is an entry-level Blu-ray Disc player released in early 2009. This player features full 1080p video output over HDMI with Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio output. Users without an HDMI connection can still utilize this device via component, S-Video or composite video. Users have the choice of using an optical or analog surround sound connection. Blu-ray movies can be played back at 24 frames per second to provide an original cinematic experience. The Memorex MVBD-2520 is a profile 2.0 player, meaning Bonus View and BD Live internet connectivity is featured. Additionally, standard DVDs can be played and upconverted on this unit to 1080p with progressive scan. While this player does not have an Ethernet port, there is a USB 2.0 connection that can be used to update the firmware to future versions. A remote control is also included.

ive lost my remote to my mvbd2520 need to somehow find another one or some universal remote that would work!

Had a problem with skipping when playing dvd's but found the problem and now no skipping! I wen't into the blueray players setup under video and found that the video was set to 480p and changed it to 1080i which is what the lcd was set at. Now no skipping at all. Works perfect!
