Frequently Asked Questions
Is the heating element replacable? In other words can I replace just the element if it goes bad or the whole unit?
I assume that it can. The heating element appears to be mounted similar to an oven heating element. The two ends of the element pass through a small metal plate that is mounted to the inside back wall with two screws. There is an access plate on the outside of the back of the unit at about this same location. It is possible that the element would unplug by removing the two screws holding the plate to the inside back wall. It is also possible that the back plate would need to be removed to get to connections.
Is it possible to carry from the 2nd floor to the garage for storage or is it too messy?
Not messy at all, clean out water tray and drip tray after use there is no mess otherwise. Its not very heavy either.
Can this smoker be used outside in the rain?
Yes it can.
