The MG15 is an entry-level electric guitar amplifier from Marshall that offers a step-down from the company's MG15R model and a step-up from the MG10 model. Featuring an updated faceplate design and an Mp3/Line In jack for external content playback, this model is fitted with a single 8-inch speaker with 15 watts of maximum power output. Separate "Clean" and "Overdrive" channels provide multiple tone options, with a three-band EQ enabling user-governed control of bass, middle and treble frequencies for further customizable sound design. Users can also use the emulated headphone system for full amplifier capabilities within his or her own headphones, making the MG15 an ideal practice model. Weighing in at 7.4 kilograms, the unit can be quickly and easily transported to practices or performances with minimal setup time required.
