Edit

Enjoy making fruit smoothies or sophisticated adult cocktails with this excellent blender-like device that's a bit more than a typical blender. The Margaritaville DM2000 Frozen Concoction Maker has the commercial UL approval for use both in the home or restaurant setting. The large ice hopper capacity is twice as big as the original DM1000 unit. The concoction maker also has four automatic pre-programmed drink cycles that unlike a regular blender it will shave the ice and blend it with your favorite ingredients for consistent quality every time. The Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker is built to party. Included with the blender is a quick setup guide and an instruction manual.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our first use of the Margaritaville Fiji frozen concoction maker and it gives off a burnt motor smell, normal?

Possible defective motor winding or your ice was still to cold (wait the 15 min. before blending) Return it for warranty if it happens again.

  • Expected ice to be a finer texture, but also didn't wait the suggested 15-20 minutes. Is that the problem?

Yes, waiting until the ice loses its frosty appearance helps. Also if the ice cubes are small to start with I have trouble getting them to shave correctly. I'm talking about the approximately 1/4" yhick cubes you get from some ice machines.
