The DV3002 from Marantz is a progressive-scan DVD player that has the ability to upconvert DVDs to 720p and 1080i resolution, which it accomplishes via HDMI. The player also has a wide range of format support, being capable of playing DVD-V, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, SVCD, VCD, CD, CD-R/CD-RW, MP3, WMA, HD-JPEG and DiVX Ultra disks. It has a built-in PAL to NTSC converter. The player also features 192kHz/24-Bit audio digital-to-analog converter, and 108Mhz/12-bit video digital-to-analog converter, and has a built-in decoder for Dolby Digital audio signals. There are component, composite and S-video outputs, and RCA-analog and digital coaxial audio outputs, plus HDMI.
