The Makita SP6000K is a 6 1/2" plunge circular saw. It has electronic speed control to help maintain a regular speed under any load, delivering smooth cutting and a splinter-free finish. The variable speed dial control goes from 2,000 RPM to 5,200 RPM. The built-in current limiter extends the lifespan of the device by helping prevent the 12 AMP motor from burning out. The Makita SP6000K comes with an electronic soft start, an adjustable depth setting, a convienient plunge release lever, close to the wall cutting, an electric brake, an attached blade wrench, and rubberized handles.
