The RoadMate 2035 is a global positioning system receiver from Magellan that offers a step-down from the company's RoadMate 2036 model. Featuring a 4.3-inch color touchscreen for clear map interface viewing, this model includes free lifetime traffic updates that allow users to avoid construction and collision zones for reduced stalling time. Basemaps are included for Canada, the USA, Mexico and Puerto Rico, with voice-prompted turn-by-turn driving directions including spoken street names. Over 6 million "Points Of Interest" are available for access at the user's discretion, for localized access to hotels, restaurants, entertainment and more. "OneTouch" favorites menu access enables full customization of the 2035's home screen, allowing users to organize services based on how much they use them. Route customization provides alternate paths based on time, distance, fuel consumption and freeway involvement, with automatic re-routing and multi-destionation routing available for added ease and convenience. In addition, "Auto Night View" automatically adjusts the color and contrast levels of the unit after sundown for reduced brightness levels.
