The M-Audio Keystation 61es is a low-cost musical keyboard. The sixty-one keys of this keyboard are velocity-sensitive, which means that they will respond to how hard you hit them. These keys are also semi-weighted. The pitch and modulation wheels of this keyboard allow you to control effects on the fly. The volume slider allows you easy access to the master volume. The Keystation 61es is powered via USB or 9VDC power adapter (sold separately). This keyboard is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows XP, and Vista (32 bit). Once you plug the Keystation 61es into any one of these systems, installation is automatic. This keyboard differs from the higher cost Keystation 88es in that the Keystation 88es has eighty-eight keys. The M-Audio Keystation 61es keyboard comes with Ableton Light Live software, which allows you to record your music to a computer.
