The Lowrance Mark-5x is a low cost fishfinder. Though this fishfinder lacks the dual-frequency transducer of the higher cost Mark-5x Pro model, and is generally less powerful, the two have many features in common. One shared feature is TrackBack, which allows you to scroll through your fishfinding history. This feature is a time-saver, since you will not have to get readings of the same fishing spot a second time. As you scroll, you can view your fishfinding history on the five inch 480 x 480 bright white LED display, which is made to be easy to read. This display is designed for one-hand tilt/swivel view adjustment, which makes for simple installation. The Lowrance Mark-5x can provide readings at depths of up to eight hundred feet, which falls short of the Mark-5x Pro model's thousand foot capability.
